Drugs and Drug Paraphernalia

Narcotics, steroids or other controlled substances may not be listed on NwMarketplace.

Drug paraphernalia may not be listed on NwMarketplace. Such paraphernalia includes all items that are primarily intended or designed for use in manufacturing, concealing or using a controlled substance.

Violations of this policy may result in a range of actions, including:

• Listing cancellation

• Limits on account privileges

• Account suspension

• Forfeit of NwMarketplace fees on cancelled listings

Drug examples (banned):

• Narcotics, Steroids and other controlled substances (including any substance included in Schedules I, II, III, IV or V of the Uniform Controlled Substances Act, 21 U.S.C. 801 et seq.)

• Gamma hydroxybutyrate (GHB)

• Methylenedioxymethamphetamine (ecstasy)

• Ephedra containing products. Any Ephedra-free item must state that this is the case. Photographs within the listing must also clearly show that the item is Ephedra-free.

Drug paraphernalia examples (banned):

• Pipes made from metal, wood (except briar), acrylic, glass, stone, plastic, or ceramic.

• Water pipes, chamber pipes, carburetor pipes, electric pipes, ice pipes, bongs, chillums.

• Pipes used to smoke peyote or opium, whether new or antique.

• Wired cigarette papers

Drug paraphernalia examples (permitted):

• Products traditionally intended for use with tobacco products, including hookah pipes and pipes made from briar, clay, corncob, meerschaum or similar materials.
